Bulletin #59 – Board of Directors’ roles descriptions

To all CSSA members,

we are 1 month away from our Annual General Meeting (AGM), at which you will be electing your new Board of Directors (BOD). Your CSSA is a volunteer run association that depends on member participation to ensure its success and continued smooth operation. This is your chance to have a say in the operation of your club. Included as an attachment  is  the role description for all of the BOD positions. I encourage you to read these descriptions and see if any of the roles interest you or if you have experience or applicable skills that would enable you to make a contribution to the future success of your association. No prior experience is necessary. If you would like to put your name forward, please send me an E-mail, indicating the position(s) of interest. There will be ample opportunity for transition and ongoing support from past board members.
If we receive more than one nomination for a position we will hold an election. All CSSA members over the age of 18 are eligible to vote, so please plan on attending the AGM on March 20th.
