Bulletin #62 – AGM Invitation

Dear CSSA Members,

The 2011-2012 Season is coming to an end in 2 weeks followed by the AGM on March 20, 2012 and the End of the year Gala on April 21st, 2012 (two different events by popular demand).
The AGM is very important because it is the meeting where the new Board of Directors is elected. To ensure smooth operation of CSSA, we need a full Board to manage the club.
The End of the year Gala is where we get together to celebrate the end of the season and recognize different accomplishments by our Skaters and Coaches. We are looking for volunteers
to help organize this event.

Our Members were sent the information related to the Role Descriptions of the different positions on the Board of Directors. Many of this season’s BOD Members are stepping down. Some of you have already expressed interest in letting your name stand for a position. Thank you very much for your willingness to serve your Club.

If you have not communicated with us and would like to run for any of the positions,
please let us know asap by contacting the Club office or Brian Sulzer. If more than one
person is interested in the same position there will be an election.

Please find attached the invitation to our AGM. We need your presence on March 20th!!!
To help out families with kids we are having a supervised movie night in a room in Kinesiology
(TBA) for the duration of the AGM.
