On behalf of the CSSA Board of Directors I would like to say thank you to all
those that in one way or another were part of the ABLT Championship.

Only with the involvement of many parties, competitions as big and welcoming
as the Alberta Indoor Long Track Championship can be so successful.

We would like to Congratulate all the Skaters that attended this weekend’s
Championship coming from Alberta, British Columbia, Saskatchewan, Manitoba,
Ontario, Australia, Romania, you gave your best during the 3 days and lots of PB’s
were made. Great skating, we hope you enjoyed this experience.

Thank you to the Coaches, your hard work with the skaters and love for the sport

they were faced with, incredible job!!!!

Thank you to the Olympic Oval and UofC staff that helped us with bookings, signage,
set-up, jumbotron, pairings for Olympic style, ice resurfacing and marking. They helped
with any need promptly and with a smile. We are lucky to call the Oval our home.

Thank you to Yves Hamelin (Olympic Oval Director), Marcel Lacroix (Oval Program
Director) and Blair Carbert (AASSA’s Volunteer President) who took time off of their
weekend and families to attend the ABLT medal ceremonies.

Thank you to all the amazing Volunteers and Officials, from Calgary and other Clubs,
that made possible the running of the ABLT Championship. We hope that you had a
great time, met new families and learned something new about the sport. Thank you
for your time and desire to help to make this event possible, all skaters appreciate your
involvement!!! Special thanks to the Assistant on the ice who held the hand of the tiny
skater that was afraid of the gun, people like you make a difference in our sport!!!
